Ariel - Lighting of the Scales

My reimagining of the Balance Guardian, Ariel, from the Legacy of Kain games. This is her before she's assassinated in the first game, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, in the red and gold dress seen briefly in a cutscene. She magically lights some glowing red material in the basins banging at a large balance scales, at what later is dubbed the Balance Shrine. Right afterward, she's knifed in the back by an unseen foe. I used references of the actress who voiced her, Breaking Bad's Anna Gunn, and the concept art for her in Soul Reaver 2 by Daniel Cabuco. Modeled in Zbrush, Maya; textured in Zbrush, Photoshop, and work on the badins and chains done with Substance Painter. Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 2. The background is from the Pillars scene I made in Unity 5.
