Nighthawk

Nighthawk: one of the Peacekeepers characters I worked on for the Peacekeepers contest (see Peacekeepers United in my works). Peacekeepers are a band of original heroic comic book characters brought together for the new DC Universe Online video game coming out soon. This character is not mine.

Painted in Photoshop. Basically the Peacekeepers' Batman, just shorter and more brazen (younger and not as Batman-like in other areas too), not that I am denigrating him for it. I love the character. It was awesome to do a black on black uniform here and still make it stand out. The gold is a nice choice to make him pop for the one who created him. I tried to show the under-padding armor of his uniform much like Batman in Arkham Asylum, perhaps. There's a couple characters that remind me of Nightwing, as well, that I wanted to include. But, again, I had to narrow it down.
